Seeking information on churches in or near Union Twp., Washington Co., PA in 1912. I am trying to find a funeral record (hopefully with village of origin) for George PETRO who died in Union Twp in April 1912. The address on the death certificate is Coal Bluff, PA. He was probably Rusyn, but I am not sure if he was buried from a Greek/Byzantine-Catholic or Roman Catholic church. He is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Monongahela, PA . Any ideas on the most likely churches in or near Union Twp in 1912 would be greatly appreciated.
