TOPIC:            KOSICE  UNIVERSITY  HISTORY  PROFESSOR  RECOUNTS PERSECUTIONS SUFFERED BY RUSYNS IN SLOVAKIA DURING   WW II  AND  AFTERWARDS  

Father Peter Borza is a university professor  and  a  Catholic priest. He is a  very knowledgeable  and   prolific writer on the  Soviet persecution of   Rusyns in  Slovakia, especially  the three  Greek  Catholic bishops Gojdich, Hopko and  Romzha.  Father  Borza  has letters written by   Bishop  Gojdich while in prison and is hoping to  have them published.   Bishop   Gojdich is listed in Yad  Vashem, the memorial to Jews who died in the Holocaust as well as  Gentiles who aided  Jews.  Come to hear these interesting  events  as recounted  by  Father  Borza.
